Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Standard cancellation terms
- More than 14 days before arrival: full refund of the amount paid, minus any non-refundable processing fees.
- 7–14 days before arrival: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before arrival or no-show: no refund.
Some special rates (e.g. promotional or long-stay) may be marked as non-refundable. The conditions that apply to your booking are always shown at the time of purchase and in your confirmation email.
2. How to request a refund
Send an email to hello@formerpub.life with your booking reference and the reason for cancellation. We confirm receipt within 2 working days.
3. Processing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method through Stripe. Funds typically appear on your statement within 5–10 working days, depending on your bank.
4. Early departure
If you leave earlier than booked, the remaining nights are not refundable.
5. Cancellation by the host
If we have to cancel your stay (force majeure, technical issue, etc.) you receive a full refund of all amounts paid. We are not liable for additional costs such as travel.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
Please contact us first — most issues can be resolved quickly and directly. Statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
